Scenic Dallas announces our monthly photo contest. First prize is a complimentary invitation for each monthly winner to the Scenic Dallas fundraising event May 27, 2004 at the home of Kathy and Harlan Crow. Winners will be announced beginning with our November 2003 update.

Rules
Photos must be of locations
within Dallas County.
Entries must be received by the 20th of each month.
The contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers.
By submitting an image to this contest, entrant grants Scenic Dallas permission
and rights to store, display, and use the image and their name as the photographer,
indefinitely, on the Scenic Dallas web site and in any collateral materials,
printed and on-line.
By entering photo(s), entrant verifies that they own the rights to the submission
and that it is not copyrighted by any other person.
Winners will be
required to sign a release for each winning entry. Winners must verify that
they have permission to publish the image of any recognizable person in their
photos (a model release).
While Scenic Dallas may use this photo indefinitely, winner retains ownership
rights and may sell their image elsewhere after 90 days from submission.
Scenic Dallas reserves the right to declare "no winner" for any month.
Formatting
and Submission Requirements
Each month the best representation in each category (“Beauty” and “Beast”)
will be featured on this website. Photos should meet the following requirements:
Photos should be formatted as follows:
— 72dpi, JPEG format, approximately 4x6 inches.
— Photo file size not larger than 300K
— (approximately 72 dots per inch by 4
inches by 6 inches when saved in color).
